Why Choose Us? Formed by Simon Bingham and John Dempsey in 1989, RGI Surveys came about as a result of a Princes Youth Business Trust loan. We have a dedicated client base and have worked for a number of large companies including Severn Trent Water.
In more recent years we have expanded as a company and now offer multi-task survey teams. We always offer competitive prices and are experienced in PAS 128 underground services surveys as well as topographic surveys. On top of this, we are accredited with SSIP (SMAS).
Utility Surveys We have been providing underground utility surveys since the 1980s and are committed to working with a wide range of individuals. Our team have years of experience and ensure that each survey is specific to the client's needs. All underground services will be accurately and reliably mapped, giving you a clear insight into these.
Only up-to-date methods are used and we ensure that all of our surveys are carried out in accordance with Publicly Available Specification PAS 128. The main detection surveys we use include Ground Probing Radar (GPR) and Electromagnetic Methods (Radio detection, EML). Using GPR allows us to find the location of any plastic or non-metallic services which are buried. On top of this, in the right conditions we can find basements and voids, underground chambers, and tanks.
Alongside these, we also provide drainage surveys which offer details about pipe sizes, cover and invert levels, the direction of flow, and connectivity. Once completed, these underground utility surveys will be plotted onto a clear plan. Other surveys available include:
